Emma & Marc’s Boho Outdoor Wedding at Abels Harp, September 25th 2025

Emma and Marc’s wedding at Abels Harp on September 25th 2025 was an absolute dream to photograph. Abels Harp is one of the most unique wedding venues in Shropshire. It’s quirky, artistic, and full of character, with sweeping views across the countryside that make every moment feel cinematic. It’s a venue that encourages creativity, and that energy flowed through their entire celebration.

Their ceremony took place outdoors beneath a rustic, thatched canopy overlooking rolling Shropshire views. With warm sunshine, crisp blue skies, and guests gathered closely around them, the atmosphere felt intimate, relaxed, and beautifully boho. Emma looked stunning in her lace gown and long veil, and Marc looked incredibly sharp in his navy suit. Their genuine connection was written across every glance and touch and they were an absolute joy to capture.

One of my favourite parts of the day was taking their couples portraits out in the open Shropshire hills. With long grass swaying around them, dramatic skies above, and the landscape stretching endlessly in every direction, their portraits became some of my most striking work. The natural setting complimented their style perfectly and made their love feel even bigger.

This wedding had such a warm, boho vibe, and I loved every moment of photographing it. Abels Harp is quickly becoming one of my favourite venues, and I’m thrilled to be shooting several more weddings there in the coming years. If they are anything like Emma and Marc’s day which was full of emotion, nature, and genuine love, well, I absolutely cannot wait.

If you’re planning your own Abels Harp wedding or an outdoor ceremony in Shropshire, I’d love to capture your story just as authentically and beautifully.
